As a proud Railway man some of the notable works/assignments/contributions are as under:
1.As Assistant operations Manager and Divisional Traffic Manager Tundla-
a) Planning, managing, monitoring and supervision of the important aspects of the train operations of the Tundla Area, consisting of more than 50 stations, 450 (approx.) route kilometres andcovering some of the busiest sections (Ghaziabad-Tundla and Tundla-Kanpur)of Indian Railways.
b) Monitoring, supervision and coordinating the Control Office working/activities for smooth and efficient i) man power planning ii) asset planning iii) traffic block planning and iv) abnormal/exceptional working.
2.As Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Prayagraj -a) managing the commercial affairs of Prayagraj division-one of the largest divisions of Indian Railways, b) developing a very good team of supervisors whose hard-work and dedicated resulted into the all-time high record earnings in goods, passenger and ticket checking sectors and also increase of more than 01 lakh passengers. c) managing successfully 03 major accidents by way of arranging fast and effective rescue, evacuation, transfer and hospitalization of the passengers in close coordination with the State Government agencies and distribution of the relief materials and ex-gratia as per the extant departmental instructions
3.As Deputy Chief Safety Officer, Traffic, North Central Railway- successful planning and launching of large scale safety campaigns and awareness generation initiatives with the active participation of the both the railway men and civil society, which among others, was one of the significant reasons in bringing down the number of consequential train accidents at zonal level.
4.As Deputy chief Vigilance Office, Traffic, North Central Railway- a) finalization and disposal of more than 1000 long pendingPreventive checks/investigation and complaint reports. b) With detailed planning and precise execution bursting of the fake unreserved railway ticket selling racket leading to the stoppage of huge loss of railway revenue.
Interests and Hobbies:
Contemplation, participation in discourses and delivering talks on topics such as Motivation, Leadership, Ethics, Decision-making, Spirituality, Corruption and Vigilance.
Yoga and Meditation, Reading.
Vision for the Indian Railways: Economically self-reliant and socially committed organization with motivated and multi-skilled work force.
Current Assignment and Responsibilities: Secretary to DG & Prof. Management Studies, National Academy of Indian Railways, Vadodara. The current responsibilities include:
a) General management monitoring and supervision of the overall functioning of the DG secretariat.
b) Assisting Director General in day to day working as per his instruction/order.
c) Logistic arrangements for the dignitaries visiting the Academy.
d) Liaison/coordination with zonal railways and Railway Board.
e) Taking sessions on Vigilance (conceptual framework and preventive vigilance) and general management topics such as Leadership & Communication skills etc.
